Objective: Create one pagers for each key concept we have covered in AP World History this year. Your
one pagers will help you see the change over time in the regions of the world we have studied as well as
recalling significant events in World History.
Directions: What is a one Pager?
A one Pager s is a chance for you to take an entire unit, region, topic, or event and summarize it in various
ways on one page. They can be creative and very informative. The one pagers you create will form 18 pages
of your review book for you to use while studying for the AP Exam.
Each one pager Must have:
a. Personal reflection that answers the questions provided for each one pager and how it ties the page
together.
b. outside of the personal reflection you have some creative control over your work, and I will provide
specific instructions for each set as well.

One-pager reviews
Things to think of while doing these one pagers:
1) be colorful & creative, it needs to look like you spent more than five minutes putting it together. The more
effort put into it the more likely you are to remember it.
2) If handwritten I must be able to read it, may use computer to format your one pager and type up work but I
must be sent an electronic copy of your work.
3) Must be in your own words, I know how you all write so please don’t copy straight from the book.
You may use:
1. Your textbook
2. Any AP review book
3. Your notes
You:
1. Are responsible for turning in all 18 one pagers on the correct date.
2. will not pass this semester if you do not do quality work on this assignment.
3.Must turn in all rounds on the day they are due. Yes even if you are sick or on a field trip I expect you to find a way
to get them up here to me.
*Disclaimer… I reserve the right to make some changes to this assignment as you progress if I see a need.
A note from Mrs. Hughes
Do NOT procrastinate on this! Notice that I am giving you weeks in advance to get started on this. If you wait
until the last minute to complete each round, you will spend many undue late nights and early mornings working on
this. Do a one pager every other day, or more some days when you have the time. Also, though it is a daunting
amount of work,
Blowing this assignment off or copying someone else‛s work will only detract from your personal review of the
material and result in a zero for you and the person you copied. The better job you do on this, the more prepared
you will be for the exam. Do this assignment well for yourself, as well as for your parents who have supported you
throughout the year and listened to your groaning about APWH! Save them some major money by preparing well for
the AP exam, so there will be one or two fewer courses they have to pay for in college. (World History in college is
a two part course, so you can potentially earn credit for both!) Don‛t wait until the last minute on this. You will only
be doing yourself a disservice. Make a time management plan, and stick to it. You would be surprised how much work
you can accomplish in 15 minutes here and there! Also I want you to think about the amount of time and effort you
have already given for this class why waste it now with the end in sight!!!
