For this assignment, you are to research the price of a car of your choice.
Develop a fact sheet detailing the results of your research. Relate factors that affect the
price of the car, what the car costs to manufacture, what the car costs the dealer, what
dealer extras are added on, and what taxes, etc. have to be considered as part of the
price.
Below are the guidelines for you to use in developing your fact sheet.









Name and year of car
Sticker price of car at three different dealerships—be sure to include name
and address of dealerships
Cost of manufacturing the vehicle
Cost of the vehicle to the dealer—Is it different for each dealership you
researched above?
What extras are added by each of the dealers and what do the extras cost
the buyer?
What taxes and fees have to be paid by the buyer?
A brief discussion of how each of the factors that affect price impact the
price of the vehicle. In some instances, this will have to be a hypothesis
on your part. Use sound reasoning and course content to support your
ideas.
Your fact sheet(s) should be word processed and professional.
Add creative touches to further individualize your work, i.e. graphics,
photos, manufacturer data, consumer data, etc.
