High Quality Foods
Dr Gerrie Lindeque
• It is time to move beyond organic
• Brix count and mineral content the most
important factors
• The liver has an amazing ability to detox
pesticides and environmental toxins if we give it
proper support
• Phase one detox – depends on the strength of
the enzymes
• Phase two detox on availability of compounds
produced like glutathion and glucuronic acid
• The liver enzymes being anionic needs
adequate calcium in order to apply energy and
detox the cationic toxins
• So the most toxic food is actually Calcium
deficient food
• Good quality foods should be high in calcium
and minerals as well as antioxidants and
vitamins
Fruit and Vegetables
Some studies have shown that the more of
these people eat the more cancer they get
The reason is not primarily the chemicals
although they are bad and definitely play a
role
We have to look at chemical fertilization
methods- an excess of certain salts and a lack
of others
• In a plant we have the unique process of
photosynthesis
• Carbon dioxide from the air is converted to
sugar in the leaves under the guidance of
chlorophyll and sunlight
• Phosphate absolutely necessary to allow these
sugars to become mobile and move around in
the plant
• The plant create a unique sugar-phosphatemineral colloid complex that absolutely are
the best way to get mineral energy into a
human being
• We can measure the brix level of the plant to
determine its quality , taste and mineral
content
• see brix chart
• Modern fertilization methods involve applying
large amounts of chemical fertilizer to “dead” soil
• The plants are easily overdosed with phosphates
in the sense that the plant cannot keep up with
colloid formation and some of the phosphates
are stored in the plant in “free” form
• This phosphate will act as an enemy of calcium in
the body (much like the Phosphoric acid in Soft
drinks)
• What should happen?
• First of all carbon content needs to be built up in
the soil to restore earthworm and bacterial action
• Soft rock phosphate (langphos) can be applied in
adequate amounts and the plant will only take as
much as it can handle at a time
• Adequate amounts of calcium should be available
to the plants at all times
• Compost tea and Foliar feeds can be utilized – a
plant gets 80 % of its nutrients from the
atmosphere
High Brix vegetables are much tastier and much
healthier!
Five times the brix means five times the mineral
content!
The calcium takes on the frequency of the
specific plant
To the body calcium in spinach is different from
calcium in beetroot – you need a wide variety!
• Because the human being have the highest
frequency in all of creation we also need the
greatest variety in our diet
• Never get stuck on only certain foods if you
want to be healthy !
• Traditionally people would eat “in season”
produce that was available
• Grains : same principles apply-you want high
brix with high calcium content-makes it much
more digestible and nutritious
• Example: Popcorn contains significantly more
minerals and carbon per weight than regular
corn in order for it to “pop”
• Makes an excellent porridge or cornbread and
is naturally gluten free!
• Aztec corn (blue-black) makes a purple
porridge-anti oxidant value higher than
blueberry-extremely high mineral content\
• Red corn ( bloody butcher)
• Traditionally treated with Slaked Lime
(Calcium hydroxide) in process of
Nixtimilization to liberate vitamin B3-makes
lovely tortias-served with beans and avocadoComplete protein
Blue Corn
• Eggs can be an amazing superfood !
• Extremely dependent on the diet of the chicken
• Fatty acid composition can shift between omega
3 and 6 and CLA
• Antioxidants can be converted to extremely
valuable forms-luteien and other caretenoids
• I get excellent results by feeding Kale and other
greens to my chickens
• What does free range really mean?
• We want Range fed!
Free Range
Pasture Raised
Dairy
• Dairy products can amazingly healthy if good
quality used
• High vitamin butter contains the same non
esterified vitamin A that you get in Cod liver oil –
this butter is naturally darker yellow in color
• We feed the cows Carrots 2-5 kg per day as well
as lots of high quality alfalfa
• With both cattle and chickens we make sure that
no GMO feeds are given!
• Free range beef contains high levels of anti cancer fatty acid CLA
(Almost completely missing from feedlot beef-not to mention GMO
component and Chemicals used!)
• Again grass fed could mean many different stages and quality of
grass Also does not specify what licks and tick poisons used
• Not wrong to feed them some supplemental feed as long as it is
natural non GMO and high in minerals and nutrients- I make a
mixture of Alfalfa and Flax with some Barley and oats (and of course
additional calcium)
• If you have high brix grass you can finish them on grass alone
during the spring time when we have rapid growth of green grass
with enough proteien Dr Reams got his pasture grasses up to a brix
of 20
• The best possible way to get your minerals is
to feed your food by properly feeding the soil
it comes from!
• High quality produce produced from high
quality soil and prepared the right way cannot
be beaten for mineral content and health !
