Atmospheric Environment Engineering
Winter
Description and rationale: Recently human activities affect on environment and global climate. This lecture
outlines air pollution phenomena, and effects of air pollution on human health, ecosystems and global climate.
Physical and chemical properties of photochemical air pollution are studied. And, phenomena and pollution
control for atmospheric global environment problems are studied as stratospheric ozone depletion, acid
deposition and global warming. Emitting, control and climatic effect of atmospheric aerosols are also studied.
Keywords: air pollution, photochemical smog, stratospheric ozone depletion, acid precipitation, global
warming, atmospheric aerosols
