Main Information Report #: 2013-4921 Status: Closed Reported to SWO on: 7/22/2013 19:37 ET Severity: Local Incident Description: White Powder Incident This situation involves: Hazardous Materials, Population Protection Actions Initial Report: Duval County EM is reporting a White Powder Incident at the Jacksonville International Airport near the visitor pickup area. Initially one exposure reported, but one additional responder was exposed to the power, both have been taken to The Mayo Clinic for treatment. The visitor pickup area was evacuated by JSO. Duval County HazMat team responded and contained the powder. The powder was sent to the State Lab for testing, and was determined to be a yellow protein powder. All evacuations have been lifted and airport operations returned to normal status. Duval County Health Department is going to follow up tomorrow.
