Job #1. Choose 4 words. Complete a “Vocabulary Web Model” for each. Use a web
model worksheet.
Use the “Dictionary Skills” Worksheet for these jobs:
Job #2. Make a list of your words and identify each the part of speech. (May be more
than one!)
Job #3. Write your words in syllables. Must use the dictionary to be sure!
Job # 4 Copy down the pronunciation of each word.

Job # 8. Create a news broadcast telling about the book. You will actually make your
broadcast to the class.
