Silver and Gold List rules: To move to the gold list for the week students cannot miss
more then two words on the silver list on the pre-test on Monday. Any student who
spells all the words correctly on the silver and gold pre-test (on Monday) will not have
any homework for the week and will not be required to take the test on Friday they will
receive an automatic 100% for that week. These rules will be followed for the entire year
there will be no exceptions however some weeks we will have only one list.

Write a newspaper account of a hero at a forest fire. Use some spelling words.
Make a fire safety poster. Include a list of things to do and not to do around a fire.
Try to use some spelling words on your poster

Write an Ad for a forest ranger. Make a list of the types of things a good ranger would do
then write a help wanted Ad for that job.

Think of a person that you would like to have a conversation with on the telephone. Write
down the conversation. Try to use some spelling words in the conversation.

your telescope.
Write an invitation to a surprise party.
