Go to the following websites and start the search. Answer all of the following questions (as completely as
possible) in your lab notebook. Be sure to include a title, and internet sites used for this Web Quest.
Include each heading for the questions. Create a small “pocket” at the end of the lab & insert this
question sheet. Feel free to use your textbook as well as the web.

the burn site?
4. Summarize the three different degrees of burns (skin layers affected, symptoms, treatments,
healing time, long-term damage, etc.). How does this classification scheme correlate with partial
and full thickness burns?
5. Why did physicians create the rule of nines? How does it work?
6. What are the upper limits of survivability (percentages and parts affected) for burn victims?
