construction of the Great Wall.
11. Confucianism grew during the Han Dynasty because
the rulers wanted to bring back respect for tradition.
12. Confucian philosophy ruled many aspects of Chinese
life.
13. The northern part of China is cool and dry.
14. The ancient civilization of China developed because of
the fertile soil deposited by the rivers.
