Leah Felcher is the Director of the Georgia Ford PAS Next Generation
Learning Hub in partnership with The Technical College System of Georgia
and the president of Felcher First Class Consulting in Stockbridge, Georgia.
Her specialty is working with school systems on high school reform efforts
that focus on the implementation of career academies and small learning
communities. Prior to starting her own consulting business, Leah worked in
the public education sector for twenty years. Her experience includes
teaching high school mathematics for 11 years, being an assistant principal in
charge of curriculum and instruction of a large urban high school for 5 years,
and serving as the district Small Learning Communities Coordinator for 4
years. Leah earned a B.S. in mathematics education from the University of
Alabama and her Masters of Education in Educational Leadership from
Georgia State University.
Leah is a certified Ford PAS Professional Development Provider (PDP) and
has trained teachers in California, Florida, Georgia, and Hawaii, and has been
involved with national Ford PAS events since 2007. She is currently working
to expand Ford PAS Next Generation Learning in Georgia through a
collaborative effort with the Georgia College and Career Academy Network
(GCCAN) and the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG).
