Propaganda Project
Objective:
Explain the author’s use of language for the purpose of persuasion and propaganda (NV 4.6.2)
Directions: You Job is to create a new product to sell to the class. You must create a type of advertisement to convince
people to buy your product. You must use at least 3 of the propaganda techniques provided. You must create a picture
of the product

Be sure to complete all necessary steps once your topic has been approved to do well on this project.
Step 1: Perform research and complete the "Propaganda Project Planning" handout and get it approved. (Due
Wednesday, March 17)
Step 2: Create storyboard (for commercial, comic strip, story and speech) or rough drafts on
8 1/2 x 11 paper (for flyer or ad) and get them approved. (Due Thursday, March 18)
Step 3: Complete project. (Due Wednesday, March 24)
Step 4: Present projects; analysis classmates' projects using chart. (Due, Thursday and Friday, March 25, 26)
