Introduction to
Parallelograms
Description
Pass out the Warm-up and review solutions.
Review the goals for the day.
Modeling: Pass out the sheet, copied from pg. 164
in the textbook and instruct students to complete.
Guiding: Help any students who are confused.
Independent Practice: Students will complete the
sheet.
Assessment: Review solutions.
Modifications:
Students with special needs will be given a
textbook and encouraged to use this as a resource to
complete the sheet.
Advanced students will be called on when
reviewing solutions.
Modeling: Review solution to warm-up. Pass out
the Properties of Parallelograms Notes sheet and
provide students with information to fill in.
Guiding: Help students complete the example
problems on the back of the notes sheet.
