Team check in begins at 10:30AM. Please check in at the parking lot for the
Junipero Serra Museum in Presidio Park, 2727 Presidio Drive San Diego 92103.
Look for the Amazing Quest Tent.
We will review the rules at 10:45AM. The race will start promptly at 11:00AM.
The race will end at 12:30PM. All racers and Race Officials will return to the start line at
that time.
Read your race clues carefully, the Race Officials and merchants have been instructed to
not give you your next clue until the task has been correctly completed. Some
challenges also have additional instructions.
When you receive a clue from a Race Official please make sure you take the clue
with your team number. Because teams start at different challenges your clue may be
different from other teams at the same challenge. All teams will complete all of the same
challenges, just not in the same order.
The race has been carefully planned so that no team has an
advantage based on their starting position or the number of
members on the team.

When crossing a street you must cross at a marked crosswalk and wait for the “walk”
signal.
The merchants who have been kind enough to host our challenges are also open for
business during the race. Please be considerate of their other customers.
Water will be available at selected challenge locations throughout the race.
You must register a cell phone in case we need to contact you or you need to call

clues or rules.
Each team will be assigned a team number.
