I. Instructions
 Working in groups of 3 which you will choose
 Create a campaign to convince people that your political or economic system is the most effective or at
least that it will be appealing. You will be assigned either a government or economic system.
 Create a visual aide poster (trifold-fold booth). It should include:
o Definition of political or economic system, examples of “successful” systems
o 3-5 propaganda techniques (see class notes from powerpoint)
o Visual techniques that persuade (color, layout, words, pictures/images/symbols)
o Other types of propaganda? Song, skit, slogan, commercial…?
 Presentation
o Display visual aide and explain/demonstrate as students rotate around room.
o One student will be a spokesperson (candidate). Prepare slogans for your candidate.
o Complete brainstorm sheet for presentation
