TIC-TAC-TOE WORK
Complete at least 3 boxes and put an x or an o on your 3 choices. The boxes that you
choose do NOT have to be in a row, but you must choose the center square every week.
Have your parents initial when you have completed each box. Return this page and the work
that says, “*RETURN TO SCHOOL*” on Thursday. REMEMBER: 1. YOU MUST DO THE

For this activity you will need dimes
and pennies. Have an adult lay out
some dimes and pennies. Count the
change you see starting with the
dimes (tens) first. Have the adult lay
out more dimes or pennies and tell
them the new amount.
Grammar
Walk around your home with
an adult and find as many
objects or people as you can
and describe them using
adjectives! Remember
adjectives are describing
words.
Sight Words
Hidden Words
Use a white crayon to write your
sight words. Then carefully color
over the white crayon with a
marker. Your sight word should
magically appear!

Word Problem
Billy has 50 horses on his ranch. He
brushes his horses’ hair every day. In
the morning he brushes 20 of the
horses. He brushes the rest of the
horses in the afternoon. How many
horses does he brush in the
afternoon?
Writing
You will need to use technology for
this next activity. Research and make
a list of animals that can be found on
a ranch. Pick one animal that you are
interested in and write three facts
about that animal.
This week we are reading
“Southern Ranch”. Please
decorate the attached
boot. Be prepared to
share your boot with the
class on Friday!
