Multiplication: Making Arrays
Arrays are an arrangement of objects sorted into rows and columns. Arrays are also a helpful way
of understanding multiplication.
Arrays are all around us and many can be found in your own home. Find 5-10 examples of arrays
in your house, name the object that has an array, work out a multiplication sentence to describe
the array and draw the array to represent the multiplication sentence. For example:
Array:

4x3 = 12
