Cell Organelle Project
The purpose of this activity is to create a project that highlights the aspects of each organelle of a cell. You
will use information you have already learned and research the information you do not know in order to create
drawings and descriptions for each cell organelle. These organelles may be found in most eukaryotic cells, but you
may focus your descriptions on plant and animal cells.
You must explain the functions of the organelles. Possible formats include, but are not limited to, creating
cell catalogs, writing a short story, poster, movie, foldable or creating a poem. Be creative! Got another idea? Please
discuss it with me before proceeding. Some sort of illustration of each organelle must be included.
