7TH GRADE SCIENCE VERTICAL ALIGNMENT
PURPOSE: In order for Wake County students to achieve a strong foundation in science, it is critical that everyone understand the vertical
placement of science concepts. This document provides key terms and concepts for 7th Grade Science and aligns them with elementary,
middle, and high school science goals and objectives. This document can be used to increase awareness of science concepts and where they
are taught in the K-12 science instructional program.
