PROBABILITY=
The probability of an event that is impossible is 0. NULL EVENT
The probability of an event that is certain is 1. CERTAIN EVENT
All probabilities fall between 0 and 1.
Write the number to show the probability for each of these. It will be a 0, 1, or a fraction between 0 – 1.
1. The sun will rise tomorrow.
2. A coin toss will yield heads.
3. 2 odd numbers will have an even sum.
4. The sun will set in the east.
5. You’ll spend the summer on the moon.
6. Winter will follow fall.
7. The next president will be from Delaware.
