QUIZ ON LIST #3 ON 10/2016
List 3:
1. Adjacent angles - when two angles share a common side and have the same
vertex.
2. Vertical angles - are opposite each other and formed by the intersection of two
lines.
3. Congruent angles - meaning they have the same measurements such as vertical
angles.
4. Right angle - measures exactly 90 degrees.
5. Straight angle - measures exactly 180 degrees.
6. Acute angle - is less than 90 degrees.
7. Obtuse angle - measures between 91-179 degrees.
8. Reflex angle - is greater than 180 degrees.
9. Protractor- is an instrument used to measure angles.
10. Compass - an instrument used to construct or draw circles.
11. Degree - is the unit of measurement used to identify angles.
12. Vertex - is where to lines meet to form an angle.
