Name:
Draw a series circuit using two resistors and a potential difference source (battery).Give the
resistors values of 100 Ohms and 50 Ohms. Give the potential difference source 30 [V]. Place a
voltmeter to measure the voltage across the 50 ohm resister and an ammeter that will measure
the current through the 100 ohm resistor. Use circuit symbols.

Calculate the equivalent resistance for the circuit.
Calculate the value of current that the ammeter will show. Explain why you solved the
