【BIOS】
Jin Tian is currently an associate professor in the Department of Information
Management and Management Science, College of Management and Economics, Tianjin
University, China. Jin Tian received the Ph.D. degree in management science and
engineering from Tianjin University in 2008. She was a visiting scholar in University of
Maryland Baltimore County during 2014 and 2015. Her primary research interests are in
the area of E-commerce and business intelligence, data mining and knowledge discovery,
personalized recommendation; machine learning and evolutionary computation; social
network analysis and mining.
She has published more than 20 papers in journals and conferences, such as IEEE
Transaction on Neural Networks and Learning Systems, Information & Management,
Pattern Recognition, Expert Systems with Applications, Neural Computing &
Applications, and Journal of Systems Engineering, including 7 SCI papers and 10 EI
papers. She has published a monograph. She is the leader of several projects, such as the
General Program of the National Science Foundation of China, the Research Fund for the
Doctoral Program of Higher Education of China, the Elite Scholar Program of Tianjin
University, and the Self-innovation Research Fund of Tianjin University. She is also a
main researcher of several projects, such as the National Science Fund for Distinguished
Young Scholars of China, the Key Program of the National Science Foundation of China,
the Program for Changjiang Scholars and Innovative Research Teams in Universities of
China (PCSIRT), the General Program of the National Science Foundation of China. She
was awarded the Excellent Doctoral Dissertation of Tianjin in 2010.
She is a current member of associate for information systems (AIS) and has been
invited as a reviewer by some journals, such as Knowledge-Based Systems, Electronic
Commerce Research and Applications, Pattern Recognition Letters, Neurocomputing,
Computers & Industrial Engineering, Journal of Management Sciences in China, Pattern
Recognition and Artificial Intelligence.
