Materials – Jujubes, toothpicks
Using the equipment provided, do the following:
1. Make the model, for carbon tetrahydride, using the jujubes and toothpicks. Make
sure the angles are correct.
2. Take a picture or draw the molecule, designating the atoms of the molecule, by
using a key. (ex. Black Jujube – Carbon atom)
3. State the shape of the molecule.
4. State whether the molecule is polar or non-polar and designate the polar ends.
5. Repeat steps 1 – 4 for all of the molecules stated below.
6. Eat the molecules
