Engineering is the profession in which knowledge of the mathematical and
natural science gained by study , experience and practice is applied with the
judgment to develop ways to utilize economical y the material and forces on
nature for the benefit of mankind.
The main meaning of an engineer is the ability to implement ideas in the
most efficient way practical and cost effective approach.
2. Define the word Profession?
A group of individuals who adhere to high ethical standards and also who
includes knowledge and preparation.
3. What distinguishes professions from other occupations?
1- Special intellectual skills
2- Formal education and graduate degree
3- Authority, judgment and peer review
4. Give three examples of profession and non-profession:
Examples of professions: layers, doctors, dentists, physicians
Examples of none professions: sellers, teachers, drivers, fashion models.
5. What does it mean to be ethical?
Ethics is the science of morals and behaviors and a set or moral principles.

PART II: * Summary of the video:
The video was talking first about engineering, definition and what is
means as a professional occupation. Two parts of engineering was
discussed, professions and benefits. There are two kinds of workers:
professions like layers and doctors and non professions like waiters and
sellers.
There are some characters for a worker to be professional such as
knowledge, degree and education.
Professions have responsibilities like taking care of clients and
customers. The video also mentioned the difference between clients and
customers. They are that clients have long relationship with professions
and customers have short relationship. Clients need professions to satisfy
their need and customers need professions to satisfy what they want.
Clients seek for advice from professions but customers just need to but
something and they are done.
