Have a super rest of the year and I will bring in Winston in June for the kids and staff to see. 1. Play "ON or IN." Place a small box, with a lid that can be opened, on the table and place a small toy next to it. Tell your child you are going to pronounce some words that begin with "O" as in on or "I" as in in. That three legged animal with green polka dots certainly looks ____. (odd) 4. Octopus Stories: Have your child draw pictures of an octopus having an adventure in the ocean. Have him/her tell you a story to go with the pictures and you write the words down for him/her. Then have your child find all the O's in his/her story and trace them with an orange crayon. READING: This week we are reviewing letters “C, D, I, J, N, P, T, V, Y, B, F, G, Ll, “Oo”. We will continue our boogie Woogie ABC song and cheer each week. Our theme this week is all about the beach and ocean. MATH: We will continue learning about the calendar (days of the week, month, day and patterns and songs. We are working with Comparing groups of numbers by separating and putting together. WRITING: We are going to be writing about the stories we read this week which are all about The Ocean and creatures that live there. HOMEWORK: 1. 1. Look both sides of the Reading worksheet for letter “Oo” and complete this together with your child. 2. Practice those spelling words every night verbally and written so the kids will be ready on Friday.
