When the contract is on the basis of cloth construction, the breaking strength values of the cloth
and seam shall be given in table 1 (serial no. iii) with respect to warpway, weftway and seam
respectively.
4.3.1
When the contract is on the basis of the bag weight and if the nominal weight of the cloth derived
from such weight is less than 305 g/m² in case of type 1 and 229 g/m² in case of type II (but
without considering twine weight yields cloth weight as 305 g/m² or 229 g/m²). The breaking
strength value of the cloth and seam shall be as given in table 1 (serial no. iv) with respect to
warpway, weftway and seam respectively.
