Reciprocals
Any two numbers whose product is 1 are called reciprocals.
to find the reciprocal of a whole number take the whole number and
change it in to an improper fraction by putting a 1 underneath it and then
turn it upside down and that is your reciprocal.
EXAMPLES - 6 = 6/1 then flip to 1/6
2 = 2/1 then flip to 1/2
to find the reciprocal of a regular fraction just flip the fraction upside
down
EXAMPLES: 2/3 flip to 3/2
7/8 flip to 8/7 it is okay for a reciprocal to be an improper
fraction
to find the reciprocal of a mixed number you must first change it into an
improper fraction and then flip it
EXAMPLES: 2 1/2 = 5/2 then flip 2/5
6 2/3 = 20/3 then flip 3/20
