A biscuit joiner is a specialised
woodworking tool that uses a circular saw
blade to cut a crescent shaped hole in the
opposite edges of two pieces of wood.
An oval-shaped, wooden biscuit (hence the
name biscuit join) is placed in the slot, glue is
applied and the two pieces of wood are
clamped together.
