Buddhism Mural
As a TEAM, create a mural with information about the Buddhist religion.
Everyone should have a part.
Include 10 of the following:
 A picture of two symbols and a definition of what each stands for.
 A picture of the Stupa and what it is.
 A picture of the Pagoda and what it is.
 Reincarnation and a definition.
 Moksha/Nirvana and a definition.
 Karma and a definition.
 Map of India and why it is important.
 Picture of Mom’s dream and an explanation as to why it is important.
 Dad as a king, and describe where he ruled.
 Picture of what mom and dad did to encourage Siddhartha to become a
king.
 Picture of two old men and how they influenced Siddhartha.
 Picture of Buddha and the year he was born.
 Picture of Middle Way and its definition.
 Four Noble Truths written and an explanation as to what they were
solving.
 Eight Fold Path written and description of why it was written.
 Picture of Siddhartha as a monk traveling for six years. Make sure to
identify in writing what Siddhartha is doing in the picture.
 Picture of Siddhartha sitting under the fig tree becoming the “Awakened
One”, “Enlightened One”, and “Buddha”.
 Label holy day and number of gods/goddesses worshipped.
