POSTER - Bacteria/Virus Drawing
Use two 8½ x 11 computer papers OR one 12 x 18 construction paper (I will provide) to
draw a bacteria of your choosing and a virus of your choosing.
1. Title your drawings BACTERIA or VIRUS –must be drawn by hand, not printed out.
You may also add the specific name of each microorganism below the main heading.
2. Labels ONLY the parts listed below - DON’T LABEL ANYTHING ELSE.
Bacteria: cell membrane; cell wall; DNA (nucleic acid); flagella; pilli; capsule.
Virus: protein coat (capsid); nucleic acid (or DNA or RNA); surface proteins.
3. Include at least 8 different and important facts that we learned in class about each
microorganism (bacteria and virus) ON THE FRONT OF THE POSTER.
4. Use color and make it look good and neat!
5. If on 2 separate 81/2 x 11, glue onto colored paper I provide.
