Youthful levels of steroid hormones protective.
Estradiol and progesterone are more protective
than testosterone
Oral, not transdermal, estradiol increases the risk
of thrombi and strokes
Estradiol reduces atherosclerosis in the long run.
Some progestins cause persistent endothelial
inflammation, atherosclerosis, and clotting.
Best Preventative Strategy—maintain youthful
levels of sex-steroid hormones!

Keeping a woman premenopausal by
restoring hormones in the most physiological
