The picture of Bob & Geri Boyd holding Trixie and Teddy Bear was on
the front page of our local newspaper because we got our Trixie and
Teddy Bear in the 365 Kittens A Year Calendar 2005. Because their
mother died when they were very young they were bottle fed and grew
up thinking we were their parents. So they’ve become easy to handle
and cradle in your arms like a baby.

Where’s the victory celebration for our victory in Fallujah, Iraq?
The liberal media treats our stunning victory in Fallujah not as a victory but as a failure,
because some of the enemy leaders temporarily escaped.
But the enemy’s retreat is not victory for them, nor a failure for us.
US commanders considered Fallujah the base of operations where they met to make war
preparations, store weapons and train new recruits. This victory is a major turning point in the war.
So why isn’t the headline:
More than 10 million women in the Middle East LIBERATED by Americans!
WHY aren’t feminists celebrating instead of criticizing our efforts?
WHY ARE WE IN THIS WAR ANYWAY? REMEMBER 911?
Remember 911 and look what we’ve accomplished since then. To very little acclaim, Hamid Karzai was
elected president of Afghanistan. This is amazing considering just three years ago Afghanistan was totally
oppressed by the tyrannical, murderous Taliban. The soccer stadium in Kabul was a public execution arena
for those who violated Islamic law. Young girls were prohibited from being taught to read or write. Now all
children can go to school including girls. Think of this, in just three years, Afghanistan has a democraticallyelected government because of the decisions made in the Oval Office, and because of the U.S. military's
efforts and sacrifices.
Where are the congratulations from the UN?
Perhaps the letter of congratulation from the European Union for this success has been held up by the
Christmas mail volume. I'm sure that Kofi Annan just forgot to praise President Bush for increasing the
world's democracies by one and decreasing the world's tyrannies. And I am convinced that Senators Kerry,
Clinton and Kennedy will introduce a resolution commending the Afghan success. But don't hold your breath!
- Gary Bauer
Can we ever really win this war over ISLAMIC terrorism? Is it basically a religious war? Was our
war on Iraq a mistake or is President Bush a type of "Lincoln" setting millions of captives free?
Unveiling Islam #862
Dr. Emir Caner was a Muslim but had to choose between his family and his faith in Christ. What would you
choose? REALLY? Would you choose to simply live in peace with your family or be rejected, persecuted
and possibly killed by your own family members? Jesus said we must choose Him and have a greater love
for Him than our mother or sister or anyone. Dr Caner chose Christ. Now he is a professor at S.E. Baptist
Theological Seminary, and author of Unveiling Islam. Dr Caner says we must never underestimate the evil
forces coming against our nation. The threat of Islamofascism is just as menacing as Hitler’s Panzer brigades
and Stalin’s war machine. We have seen helpless civilians beheaded, school children shot in the back, and
Spaniards, Australians, and Israelis brutally blown to bits while engaged in their daily activities. And always
the killers are shouting praise to Allah while our leaders tell us that none of this had anything to do with
“peaceful” Islam. Islamic terrorists are on a religious crusade to conquer the world! In fact, it’s more than
just Islam vs. Christianity. It's the spiritual war of the ages.

Sign of the Times
A sign outside a California church promoting a Sunday sermon entitled "Why I Am Not a Muslim" has drawn complaints from
some locals who say it is offensive to Muslims. Donald Fareed was a Muslim but is now a Christian. "My goal is not to offend
Muslims, but to communicate why I changed," said Fareed. But local resident Jay Keller called the sign offensive. "I work with a lot
of Muslims and don’t know why someone would put up a sign like that," he said. HELLO?
A Veteran in the Valley # 866
History books have been re-written to downplay patriotism and emphasize globalism. But how can we raise
heroes to defend our freedoms if young people don't know the price others paid to win it in the past? Listen to
our SPECIAL tribute to veterans that features a fascinating account given by Korean veteran Ed Reeves. Ed
fought for his life in freezing temperatures against impossible odds and against innumerable soldiers from
Korea, Russia and China. It was so cold that even the blood in the bullet holes froze into plugs that prevented
him from bleeding to death. Even after almost all the others were killed, Ed Reeves miraculously fought
bravely on despite his life-threatening wounds and despite the fact that he had totally run out of ammunition.
(A small booklet called “Unshackled” comes with a CD or tape copy of this program.)
You won’t read about the following heroic account in the liberal press:
Marine sacrifices his life for others in grenade blast.
FALLUJAH, Iraq — Sgt. Rafael Peralta built a reputation as a man who always put his Marines' interests
ahead of his own. He showed that again, when he made the ultimate sacrifice of his life, by shielding his
fellow Marines from a grenade blast.
Peralta, 25, as platoon scout, wasn't even assigned to the assault team that entered the enemy’s house in
Fallujah, Marines said. Despite an assignment that would have allowed him to avoid such dangerous duty, he
regularly asked squad leaders if he could join their assault teams.
He was one of the first Marines to enter the house and was wounded in the face by rifle fire from a room near
the entry door. Moments later, an insurgent rolled a fragmentation grenade into the area where a wounded
Peralta and the other Marines were seeking cover.
As Morrison and another Marine scrambled to escape the blast, pounding against a locked door, Peralta
grabbed the grenade and cradled it into his body, Morrison said. While one Marine was badly wounded by
shrapnel from the blast, the Marines said they believe more lives would have been lost if not for Peralta's
selfless act.
"He saved half my fire team," said Cpl. Brannon Dyer, 27, of Blairsville, Ga. The Marines said such a
sacrifice would be perfectly in character for Peralta, a Mexico native who lived in San Diego and gained U.S.
citizenship after joining the Marines. What a hero. "He'd stand up for his Marines to an insane point," Rogers
said. He will be remembered as so meticulous about even his uniform that he sent his camouflage uniform to
be pressed while training in Kuwait before entering Iraq. But mostly they remembered his acts of selflessness:
giving a buddy a ride home from the bar, teaching salsa dance steps in the barracks.
But most of all he gave his life so others could live.
Meanwhile thousands of mosques and Islamic schools continue to teach young Muslims that Christians and
Jews must be killed. Muslim mullahs have stated how happy Allah would be to see a mushroom cloud over
Jerusalem, New York and D.C.
Could it happen here? Is it even conceivable that America could be hit with a chemical, biological or nuclear
bomb? On the following program, our guest says it's only through God's supernatural shield that we
haven't already been hit.
Inside the Red Zone #867
Senior medical scientist, Igor Shafhid, author of Inside the Red Zone, is a counter-terrorist who trains
physicians, police and others on behalf of the US Dept. of Energy.
3
Listen to this: Dr Shafhid spent 10 years in the Russian army as a medical officer who trained
military personnel in all aspects of weapons of mass destruction. Dr Shafhid describes what the patients
looked like that were exposed to nuclear radiation, Ebola, small pox, plague and the most virulent agents
imaginable. Dr Shafhid wrote:
Russia never winced at the cost of losing soldiers to nerve agents or live pathogens, since they could
learn first hand the effect of these weapons on humans.
These agents were developed by Russia to be used on American cities. He saw the victims of the horrendous
Chernobyl disaster, and the sailors on the nuclear sub with radiation leaks. He describes how they died an
agonizingly slow, painful death.
Dr Shafhid has gone from being an atheist, communist working in a system to destroy America to now
being a Christian and an American citizen- working to protect America.
After a few months of working on counter terrorism Dr Shafhid realized how easy it would be for terrorists to
come into our country and set off waves of terrible destruction bringing chaos and death. Realizing how
vulnerable we are he got down on his knees and thanked God because he realized it was GOD who has been
supernaturally protecting this nation from incredible devastation. Yet we not only take God for granted we
are asking Him to leave.
(Psst -If there are children nearby as you're reading this, you might want to have them step into another room.) I'm about to type
something I know is offensive to a lot people --and if you're one of them, well, I guess we'll both just have to live with it. Here
goes. Don't say I didn't warn you:
"Merry Christmas"!
I know, I know. What a thing to say. At this time of year, no less. But I don't care what people think, I want to…
Keep Christ in Christmas #871
WHY? How important is the gospel to you? Because what’s at stake is not just the elimination of Christmas
but the freedom to proclaim the gospel in public. Attorney Joe Infranco, with the Alliance Defense Fund, is
countering the ACLU to keep Christ in Christmas and Christmas in public. Attorney & syndicated
columnist, David Limbaugh, (brother of Rush Limbaugh), and author of Persecution, says from the
courtroom to the schoolroom to the newsroom, Christians are being persecuted. Intolerance in the name of
tolerance is eliminating all Christian expression.
Here are some common yet egregious examples.A principal told a high school teacher in PA that he could not
include religious music in the school's annual Christmas concert... A principal in Indiana banned any
mention of the word Christmas at his school... A school in Oklahoma banned all religious music and displays
during the Christmas season, even songs such as "Winter Wonderland" and "Frosty the Snowman".
In Maplewood, N.J the local school board banned instrumental religious Christmas music from school
programs. "The school district said listening to the instrumental version may invoke the words, which would
be a violation of the Constitution!" Is this a joke, insanity, or Christmas-phobia?
School buses in Chicago play the radio throughout the year, but this year they were told to not play the radio
at all because a Christmas song may come on. But the School Superintendent Dennis Conti (Gurnee, IL),
who banned Christmas music on school busses, was overruled by his school board after local media picked up
the story and a lawsuit was threatened. Conti explained that he had banned the music for “safety” reasons.
Bible Club students in PA and New Jersey were told they could not distribute candy canes to their classmates
during the Christmas season because the candy package included an explanation of the religious origins of the
candy cane... A church in New Mexico wanted to enter a float in their city's Christmas parade, but church
members were told their float could not include religious symbols (in a Christmas parade!) and they could not
distribute tracts on the sidewalk during the parade... City officials in Georgia told the private owners of an
4
amusement park they could not present shows that mentioned the religious meaning of Christmas...
Oregon students were prohibited from giving out Christmas cards. A Massachusetts second-grader was
forbidden from reading a Christmas story to classmates. A Washington principal banned Charles Dickens’
“Christmas Carol" because Tiny Tim prayed, "God bless us everyone."
One elementary school changed “Christmas party” to “refreshment party”. Public school no longer have
Christmas or even a holiday season, they have a sparkle season. Whatever that is.
The Plano, TX school district banned red and green plates and napkins and could only bring white decorations
for 'winter' parties. The district banned colored icing on cookies. If someone told them white symbolizes the
purity of Christ, they’d probably ban white!
But this is KEY: Plano is also the home of the Prestonwood Baptist Church, pastored by Jack Graham, the
outgoing president of the Southern Baptist Convention. “Last summer, at the SBC annual meeting, General
Pinckney and I (Bruce Shortt) attempted to have our resolution, calling for Christians to remove their kids
from public schools, considered. But Jack Graham and others who opposed it told us that their school
districts are "different" - that they have good Christians in the schools, in the administration, and on the
school board. We, of course, tried to point out that they were deluding themselves.”
“Now we have a comic example (banning red and green napkins!) of the extreme anti-Christian fanaticism in
the very schools of those who opposed our attempt to warn Christian parents about government schools.
Those Christians who deny that government schools are aggressively anti-Christian are deluding themselves”.
Satan is using public schools to dismantle and destroy Christian churches and Christian children. Yet by their
silence and their inaction church leaders are endorsing public schools.
"Christmas" is being banned from public for "religious tolerance!”
From Florida to Chicago, schools included Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and other ethnic and religious songs, but not
Christmas songs, in their holiday concerts. Public schools in CA, FL, NY, DE, VA, NH, MN, and GA
accommodated Muslim students during Ramadan with special time off, rooms to pray, and speakers to talk
about the Muslim fast. One school urged non-Muslim students and teachers to join in the fast.
But there’s no Christ at Christmas!
Schools and public libraries have even banned Christmas trees. A Christmas tree that decorated the lobby in
the new federal courthouse in Jacksonville has been removed by order of the Chief Judge. A lighted snowman,
reindeer and sleigh has replaced the tree. The decision was to “…make sure no one is offended.”
In this year’s winter concert at Freedom School (FL) students sung about America and patriotism instead of
CHRISTMAS CAROLS. Freedom Principal Gary Holbrook said, “We're trying to be respectful of everyone."
Christmas is under attack because it is associated with JESUS CHRIST and the spiritual heritage upon which
this nation was founded. The end game is to remove Christianity from America.
The mayor of Somerville, Mass. has issued a written apology for daring to refer to the city’s upcoming
celebration as a "Christmas party.” Mayor Joe’s apology stated: "A press release from my office mistakenly
identified this month's Holiday Party as a 'Christmas Party.' I apologize for the mistake and to anyone who
was offended by it.”
A Christmas parade in Denver featured everyone from Chinese lion dancers, to gay and lesbian shamans, but
not Christians who want to celebrate Christmas. “These groups are considered examples of ethnic diversity,
not religious groups”, a parade official said. "We want to avoid that specific religious message out of respect
for other religions in the region." But to protest the parade committee’s ruling, as many as a 1,000 Christmas
carolers walked along the parade route in downtown Denver singing banned tunes such as “Joy to the
World,” “Silent Night” and “The First Noel.” Some waved crosses and other Christian symbols to protest
the parade committee’s ruling.
5
What’s going on here?
suggested that Christmas be turned into a gift-giving secular
holiday and move what little of Christ is left over to Easter. Imagine the justified outrage if Mr. Boykin had
suggested removing Muhammad from Ramadan or the Maccabees from Hanukkah. Christmas is the time of
year when billions of Christians celebrate the birth of Christ. The flagrant attempt to remove Christ from
Christmas would never be permitted if applied to the holy days of any other religion. So much for religious
“tolerance”.
To separate Christ from Christmas not only insults many who believe, it also removes all faith and hope
from the season.
Schoolteachers and public officials who dare mention the name of Christ, not just at Christmas but anytime,
risk censure, rejection, and even legal action. In more and more communities an antichrist spirit prevails
because Christians refuse to take a stand. But we’re taking a stand.
John Boykin, a National Public Radio commentator,
If the secular progressives succeed in expunging God from American public life, then who endows Americans with
inalienable rights? Like the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness… The state,of course. And once the state
becomes supreme, our inalienable rights will be subject to the state's whims. It’s called tyranny.
Thomas Jefferson put it this way, “To compel a man to pay for the propagation of ideas that he disbelieves and abhors
is sinful and tyrannical.” But isn’t that what Christians are forced to do with public schools? We are forced, through
compulsory education and taxes, to pay to have our own children converted to atheism.
By removing Christ from Christmas, by removing God’s role from history, and even the word “God” from
student papers IS AN ESTABLISHMENT OF RELIGION, namely atheism. Teaching evolution only, and
teaching evolution is a scientific fact, while excluding creationism from science class to categorize it as
simply a religious belief- a legend, folklore a myth, is teaching atheism. Compelling students to believe like
an atheist is nothing less than an establishment of religion.
Islam, Hinduism and all the other religions in the world can be discussed openly and without reprisal in the
public schools of America, yet even mention Christianity, God or Jesus in hushed tones and you are subject to
dismissal, administrative leave or other forms of discipline.
What is it with the people in this country?!
Our secular culture proclaims their "tolerance" as long as it's anything but Christianity! And they have the
nerve to call Christians hypocrites! What?
The secular, anti-Christian side is doing exactly what it accuses us of doing, namely using the government to
impose its religion on others. Getting people to say 'Merry Christmas’ is not promoting Christianity. There’s
no threat that Christians will impose our religion on anyone else by using the schools or local government.
The other side knows this. But they are on offensive, not defense. The ACLU doesn't really care about
manger scenes, Ten Commandments monuments and other symbolic targets. Instead, they use these legal
assaults to keep us on defense and keep us from recognizing what their real agenda is.
What is the real agenda?
It’s state-imposed atheism. The ACLU and its allies actually don't mind their own belief system, their own
religion being imposed through the government schools. They don't mind that taxpayers are forced to pay to
support unconstitutional programs that violate our religious beliefs, the beliefs of tens of millions of Bible
believers. They don't mind it. They love it. That's their goal. To impose their will on the people through
litigation and manipulation of a corrupt court system, to strip the country and its people of all that made
America great and different. In short, they want to impose secular humanism-ATHEISM -as the official state
religion. HOW? By indoctrinating children for seven hours a day that God is irrelevant to their lives, by
attacking any expression of Christianity in public, by marginalizing and persecuting believers in God.
Few recognize what the ACLU and its allies are doing. They are radically transforming America from a
Godly country to a humanist country. Censoring "Merry Christmas" is really an attempt to suppress the
6
Gospel. Incredibly Christmas is on the same extinction list as school prayer and the Ten
Commandments because it symbolizes the acknowledgment of Christianity. And as long as there's even a
remnant of us who remember what -- and Who -- the season is all about, the attack will be unceasing.
What's at stake is not just the elimination of Christmas but the freedom to proclaim the gospel.
The children were lined up in the cafeteria of a Christian elementary school for lunch. At the head of the table
was a large pile of apples. The teacher made a note, and posted it on the apple tray: "Take only ONE. God is
watching.
"Moving further along the lunch line, at the other end of the table was a large pile of chocolate chip cookies.
A child had written a note, "Take all you want. God is watching the apples".
Great Christian Composers #872
Although public schools censor out Christmas music that mentions Jesus as Lord, the greatest musicians were
Christians. Were Mozart, Beethoven, Bach, Handel, really Christians? The Executive Director of the
Christian Performing Artists Fellowship, Dr Patrick Kavenaugh, author of Devotions from the World of
Music, and Raising Musical Kids, gives some fascinating details into the lives of the great composers and
encourages parents to help their children develop a love for music. It's fascinating how the parents of the great
composers affected their child's genius.
Fifth graders were given the assignment to write poems about Thanksgiving. Ten-year old Kaeley Hay wrote
one that ended with, “Pilgrims thanked God for what they were given.” Her classmates voted to put her poem
on display in the hallway. But when it was posted, one word was missing: “God.” School officials decided
any mention of God was inappropriate at public school, so they took “GOD” out at Thanksgiving. Nobody
seemed to notice that’s what the THANKSGIVING holiday is all about.
Students are not taught about the Pilgrims' faith in GOD that inspired their heroic and dangerous journey to
America. In fact, Maryland public schools have eliminated all reference that the Pilgrims (or anybody else in
our history) offered thanks to God. As Charles Ridgell of the St. Mary's County Public Schools said, "We
teach about Thanksgiving from a purely historical perspective, not from a religious perspective." Lissa
Brown, assistant executive director of the Maryland State Teacher's Association echoed these remarks stating:
"Schools don't want to do anything that would influence or act against the religious preferences of others.”
Mr. Ridgell and Ms. Brown must have attended these same public schools growing up because anyone with
even a partial understanding of history knows that religion and history are inextricably linked. This was
especially true for the Pilgrims who, "fell upon their knees and blessed the God of heaven who had brought
them over the vast and furious ocean."
Thanksgiving Unto God # 868
Why did the Pilgrims come to America? Was it simply for religious freedom? Not according to Peter
Marshall, historian and author of The Light and The Glory, who says they came here to bring the gospel to
the Indians. Why did they start Thanksgiving? Who were the Pilgrims? Connie is a 4th grade teacher who
reads from a (fictional) diary of a 12 year- old girl who came to America on the Mayflower. Vaughn
Shatzer, author of The History of America, describes how foundational Christianity was to the founders in
law and education and every aspect of early life.
What has happened is not so much that the Christians are leaving the public schools as that the public schools
have left the Christians.
Today, while our soldiers hunt down terrorists in Iraq, Afghanistan, and around the world there is
another war raging in America’s public schools.
7
Perched in their ivory towers are liberal professors, revisionist historians and outright socialists who,
like their liberal media allies, have made it their life’s work to erode the values of Western Civilization in
favor of promoting “feel good” socialism…or worse. The clay these leftists are most interested in shaping is
an important group of young Americans – our next generation of media anchors, reporters, editors and
publishers. Once they come to college, the message they hear is “Your parents are racist, sexist, bigoted and
homophobic and we’re going to take you and change all that.” Robert Bork nominee for US Supreme Court
To commit our children to the care of irreligious people is to commit lambs to the suprerintendancy of
wolves.” Dr. Timothy Dwight, President Yale College 1795-1817
Can you imagine turning an innocent little lamb over to a wolf to eat? That’s a good description of what
happens to Christian children turned over to the public schools to educate. Yet millions of trusting parents
turn their little lambs over to a system and people they know nothing about.
Spiritual War Zone #869
Pastor John Esposito, author of Public Education- Crisis or Conspiracy? says there is an even greater
danger to school kids than losing their lives. They could lose their eternal souls! Public schools have become
literally a "spiritual" war zone where 88% of Christian kids lose their faith. We are battling for the future of
our nation in our schools. John Esposito, who worked in the public schools and is now the administrator of a
Christian school, says the reason for the moral decline in our society is due to what's being taught at school.
In a season with lawsuits against manger scenes, crosses, and even the words "Merry Christmas,"the
Cupertino Union School District is taking the "separation of church and state" one step further in prohibiting a
teacher from giving students excerpts from the Declaration of Independence, the diaries of George
Washington and John Adams, the writings of William Penn, and various state constitutions. Is it now
unconstitutional to read the Declaration of Independence in public school?
The district is attempting to cleanse all references to the Christian religion from our nation's history, and they
are singling out one Christian teacher for discriminatory treatment.
Freedom of Religion #870
What are the three basic "rights" that form the basis of our Bill of Rights? Do they include a right to a free
public education, health care, a minimum wage? Could a Moslem produce a Bill of Rights? What's the
difference between "rights" and "entitlements”? What is the Bill of Rights anyway? How has freedom of
religion become freedom from religion in public schools? John Patterson, the author of The Bill of RightsPolitics, Religion & The Quest for Justice, gives a historical background to the Bill of Rights and how we can
restore it's original meaning to have freedom of religion before it's lost.
Government Control Over Education #875
Are public schools religiously neutral? Then why is GOD totally eliminated? From biology to history there's
no mention of God. Jefferson said, "To compel a man to pay for the propagation of ideas that he disbelieves
and abhors is sinful and tyrannical." Dr William Cox, an educator for more than 25 years and teacher of the
year, says parental authority has been usurped through government control of education. He is the author of
Tyranny Though Public Education. God has given children to the parents to educate but schools are forcing
children to learn values and beliefs contrary to their parents.
Now for some hope: Joy In The Journey #874
If you were given the chance to be a happy person for the rest of your life would you take it? Are you
concerned about tomorrow? Anxious about today? Depressed over your past? Then this LIFE CHANGING
program is just for you. The solution is JOY! Joy is the Christian's ID card. Joy reverses anxiety, depression,
fear and discouragement. Is it really possible to change a person's basic character? Best selling author, Mike
Mason, author of Celebrating Gods Gift of Joy – Champagne for the Soul, was a moody, depressed person
but tried a 90-day experiment in JOY. It can work for you. Try it.

When Sankey Sang the Shepherd Song on Christmas Eve
On Christmas Eve, 1875, Ira Sankey was traveling by steamboat up the Delaware River. Mr Sankey
was asked to sing, and as always he was willing to do so. As he stood there on the open deck his eyes were
raised to the starry heavens in quiet prayer. He intended to sing a Christmas song, but somehow he was driven
to sing the “Shepherd Song.”
Sankey sang with such feeling it welled up deep from his very soul. Every heart was touched. After the
song ended, a man with a rough, weather beaten face came up to Mr. Sankey and said, “Did you ever serve in
the Union Army?”
“Yes,” answered Mr. Sankey, “in the spring of 1860.” The man asked, “Can you remember if you were
doing your picket duty on a bright moonlight night in 1862?”
“Yes,” answered Mr. Sankey, very much surprised.
“So do I,” said the stranger, “but I was serving in the Confederate Army. When I saw you standing at
your post I thought to myself, ”That fellow will never get away from here alive.” I raised my musket and took
aim. I was in the shadows completely concealed but you were in the full light of the moon. But at that instant,
just as a moment ago, you raised your eyes to heaven and began to sing that captivating song. Music has
always had a wonderful power over me, and I took my finger off the trigger.”
“Let him sing his song to the end,” I said to myself; “I can shoot him afterwards. He’s my victim at all
events, and my bullet cannot miss him.”
“But the song you sang then was the same song you sang just now. I heard the words perfectly: ‘Savior,
like a shepherd lead us. Blessed Jesus, Thou hast bought us, Thine we are. We are Thine, do Thou befriend us,
Be the Guardian of our way. Seek us when we go astray. With Thy love our bosoms fill: Blessed Jesus, Thou
hast loved us, love us still.”’
“These words stirred up many memories in my heart. I began to think of my childhood and my Godfearing mother. She had many, many times sung that very song to me. When you had finished singing, it was
impossible for me to take aim at you again. I thought: ‘The Lord who is able to save that man from certain
death must surely be great and mighty’ – and my arm, or its own accord, dropped limp by my side. Since that
time I have wandered far and wide, but when I just now saw you standing there praying just as on that other
occasion I recognized you. And my heart was wounded by your song. Now I wish that you would help me
find a cure for my sin sick soul.”
Deeply moved Mr Sankey threw his arms around the man who, in the days of war, had been his mortal
enemy. But this Christmas the two went together to the Savior, the Good Shepherd, who seeks the lost sheep
until He finds it. And when He has found it He lays it on His shoulders, rejoicing.
“He that dwells in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night, nor for the arrow that flieth by day.”
May the GOOD LORD bless you all year,
