202.7.1 Irrigation & Related Pumping.
A.
Availability.
Available for a three-year period beginning on the effective date
shown hereon as an experimental rate schedule to Consumers of the
Cooperative located on or near the Cooperative’s three-phase lines
for pump irrigation service on a minimum twelve (12) month
contract basis. The use of energy under this schedule shall be
confined to irrigation and related pumping. See also §323.2.
B.
Type of Service.
Three-phase, 60 cycles, at the Cooperative's standard secondary and
primary voltages. At the discretion of the Cooperative, single-phase
service may be furnished where three-phase service is not available,
provided the nameplate rating is not in excess of 10 horsepower.
Frequency and voltage shall be subject to reasonable variation. See
also §320.2.
C.
Rate - Monthly.
Consumer Charge:
N
$15.00
This is an availability charge and does
not include any kilowatt hours of
energy or any horsepower or kilowatt
hour demand charge for service
rendered during the billing period.
Demand Charge:
$2.50 per kilowatt, if kWh exceeds
195 kWh per horsepower. There will
be no demand charge if kWh usage is
less than or equal to 195 kWh per
horsepower.
Energy Charge:
First 195 kWh per horsepower
$0.05887 per kWh
Over 195 kWh per horsepower

Determination of Billing Horsepower.
The horsepower for billing the monthly energy charge shall be based
on the motor name-plate rating or, at its option, the Cooperative may
determine the horsepower by test under conditions of maximum
operating loads. In the month where there is kWh usage, the
horsepower shall be established horsepower.
E.
Determination of Billing kW.
The billing demand shall be the maximum kilowatt demand
established by the Consumer for any fifteen (15) minute period
during the month for which the bill is rendered, as indicated or
recorded by a demand meter
F.
Billing Adjustments.
Billing adjustments shall be made in accordance with §203.
G.
Power Factor Adjustment.
The Consumer agrees to maintain unity power factor as nearly as
practicable. The horsepower charges may be adjusted for average
factor lower than 90% if and when the Cooperative deems necessary.
Such adjustments will be made by increasing the billing horsepower
1% for each 1% by which the average power factor is less than 90%
lagging. See also §203.4 and §323.4.
H.
Conditions of Service.
Motors having a nameplate rating in excess of 10 horsepower must
be three-phase. Motors having a nameplate rating in excess of 100
horsepower must have a reduced voltage starter as specified by the
Cooperative.

Other Fees.
From time to time other fees may be imposed consistent with these
tariffs. See §204, §301.2, §305 and §324.8.
J.
Terms of Payment.
Monthly bills are payable upon receipt each month, and are due no
later than 16 days from the date mailed to Consumer. If the 16th day
falls on a holiday or weekend, the due date for payment purposes
shall be the next work day. Monthly bills will be considered paid
ONLY when payment is received by the Cooperative. See also
§324.
If payment is not received by the Cooperative before the close of
business 16 days from the date of mailing, the bill becomes past due.
Consumer's service is subject to discontinuance anytime thereafter
with ten days' written notice.
For member read meters, an estimated meter reading will be used for
computing monthly bills when actual meter reading is not received
from the Consumer by the 20th of the billing month. Failure on the
part of the Consumer to furnish a meter reading for three consecutive
months will authorized the Cooperative to read the meter and include
a trip fee on the Consumer's bill for the month.
For qualifying Consumers, a level payment plan is available. See
§309.0.
