JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for coordinating the Advanced Technology Center (ATC) programs and
job development activities to include job placement and apprenticeship programs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Coordinate job placement of all graduates from the ATC programs. Conduct
student orientation presentations and job development; schedule and coordinate
workshops, career exploration activities and employable skills training.

2. Establish, maintain and serve as liaison with the local community, private industry
councils, manufacturing enterprises, faculty, other college departments, high
school counselors, community organizations and agencies, and businesses to
provide and disseminate information. Assess industrial competencies and skill
levels. Promote the ATC programs to prospective local employers and initiate
jobs.

3. Assess new programs and recommend program development strategies and
business targets in a timely manner. Coordinate job placement efforts, facilitate
referrals, and market the programs mission and goals to locate employers.
Prepare and provide reports of program, services and activities as needed.

4. Conduct structured interviews; develop individualized student educational plans.
Monitor and track student registrations, update and maintain student files, assist
with project evaluations.

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s or equivalent.
