Project
I’ve posted a question on our class blog to see how you are getting on with your
Homework projects so I’m looking forward to hearing all about your creative ideas!
Remember that you’ll be presenting your homework to the class during the week
beginning 2nd December.
Reading
I really appreciate all of the hard work that is going into your reading records so
please keep it up; the records are a fantastic way for me to see the huge range of
books that you’ve been reading. We’ll be looking at how to use commas
effectively next week, so please have a look in your current reading book to see
how your author uses punctuation.
Spelling
Here are some collective nouns. Learn the spellings and find out what each word
refers to.
Flock, litter, school, ream, troupe, parliament, yoke, ostentation, bouquet, peal,
string, batch, murder.
Maths
Next week we will be consolidating our application of multiplication methods. Can
you make up any word problems for us to solve in class?
Next Week
We will be discussing plays that we have seen and will be designing costumes
and sets for the Witches’ scenes from Macbeth. If you’ve been to the theatre
recently and have a programme or photographs from a production, please bring
them into class.
Other Notes
We will be decorating the Park Grove Christmas tree on Thursday next week
(straight after school) and it would be great to see you there with some tinsel…
