For each of the following construct a circle graph (pie chart) on loose-leaf or graph paper
to display the data. Also, include a chart with the appropriate columns:
1) At a construction site, different projects are being completed. Project A is being worked on
by 84 people, Project B by 91, Project C by 75, Project D by 100, and Project E by 82.
2) A recent survey asked senior students at SFP which quarter is the easiest with regards to
workload. 326 responded Quarter 1, 154 responded Quarter 2, 222 responded Quarter 3, and 54
responded Quarter 4.
3) A recent poll asked New Yorkers which is their favorite New York team. 1,054 responded
with NY Rangers, 3,057 responded NY Giants, 11,072 responded NY Mets, 8,654 responded
NY Jets, and 12 responded NY Yankees.
4) A travel agency asked 1,000 people, "Where would your dream vacation be?" 354 responded
with Tahiti, 177 responded with Aruba, 450 responded Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and 19 said
the Bronx, NY.
5) A math survey polled students and asked them which course they found the most difficult.
546 responded with Algebra I, 425 responded with Algebra II, 767 responded with Geometry,
and 536 responded with Probability and Statistics.
