What is the Cancer Wall?
• The Cancer Wall is a project for
Relay for Life
• It is planned to be a 31 foot long
mosaic at Fremont Junior High
School
• There are going to be 3 mosaics
about the same length made in the
coming years
What are the specifics?
• We will be making 3 walls, CELEBRATE, REMEMBER,
and FIGHT BACK, that are going to be worked on for
the years to come
• We will be working on REMEMBER this year
• The walls will be created out of 875 4x4 inch clay tiles
• We will be selling these tiles for $5-$7
• once you buy one you can decorate it
with the
glazes we have
What is it for?
• This Cancer Wall is for REMEMBERING
the ones lost to Cancer, CELEBRATING
their lives and the survivors of Cancer,
and FIGHTING BACK against Cancer
• We are going to be selling the tiles
before and during Relay for Life where
all proceeds go to Relay for Life and
back to do the next wall
What is Relay for Life?
• Relay For Life is an event that gives everyone a
chance to CELEBRATE the lives of people who
have battled cancer, REMEMBER loved ones lost,
and FIGHT BACK against the disease
• It is meant to simulate the feeling of when you
have Cancer
• It fundraises money for: Research, Treatment,
Prevention, and Patient Support
