Abstract
The evolution of parasite hostinteraction is a dynamic process that givesrise to changes in the genetic compositionof the species
involved in such aninteraction. Changes can be observed at thelevels of the genes of the individualsthrough a gene-for-gene model
or, at thelevel of the genetic structure of thepopulation, through the geographic mosaicmodel.
