Math II – First Semester Project
10 points will be deducted each day the project is late!
This project will be counted as a test grade. Your final product should be a book with the
following requirements:
 Cover Page
 One page to answer each of the parts:
o Part 1 must have the table and circle graph with key/legend.
o Part 2 must have a complete sentence answering each of the four questions
and all work shown.
o Part 3 must have a picture, all work and a sentence answering the question.
o Part 4 must have a picture with the dimensions labeled and all work shown.
Math II Project, Part 1 – Constructing Circle Graphs
Begin by filling in the table below listing your activities in the left column. Three categories
have been filled in for you. How do you spend the rest of your day? Sports? Video Games?
Working? Doing homework? (You must fill in at least three more categories.)
After completing the categories column, fill in the amount of hours you spend on each activity
per day. Convert this to a fractional part of the total hours in one day. Then find the number
of degrees for the central angle.
Draw your circle graph. Label each wedge, or color them and show the legend for the colors.
Give your circle graph a title. Be sure to show all work.
