The probability that a tourist visiting Europe will see a bullfight in Spain is 0.30.
The probability that a tourist visiting Europe will see Paris AND Rome is 0.11.
The probability that a tourist visiting Europe will see Paris AND Rome AND a bullfight is .05.
The probability that a tourist visiting Europe will see Paris, but neither Rome nor a bullfight is
0.35 .
The probability that a tourist visiting Europe will NOT see Paris, but see Rome and a bullfight
is 0.08.
The probability that a tourist visiting Europe will NOT see Paris, NOT see Rome and NOT see
a bullfight is 0.13.
Use a Venn Diagram (on this sheet, please) to answer the following:
a) What is the probability that a person visiting Europe will visit Rome?
b) What is the probability that a person visiting Europe will see Rome or a bullfight but not
Paris?
c) What is the probability that a person visiting Europe will see Paris and Rome, but not a
bullfight?
d) What is the probability that a person visiting Europe will either visit Paris, or visit Rome, or
see a bullfight (that is, any one of the sights, not two or more)
