Guest Panelists
Eric Enos is a Native Hawaiian who has lived
and worked in the community for more than 50
years. Eric is a founder and the program director
of Ka‘ala Farm, Inc., a Native Hawaiian cultural
education and environmental conservation
organization that works literally and figuratively
within the framework of the ahupua‘a and the
values embodied within it.
Chip Fletcher, is a Professor in the Department
of Geology and Geophysics at University of
Hawai‘i. Chip’s research areas include coastal
geology, Holocene and Late Quaternary
sea-level change, sedimentary records
of environmental change, coastal zone
management, and coastal hazard management.
This presentation is in cooperation with Ka Huli Ao Center for Excellence in Native Hawaiian Law, the
Environmental Law Program, and the Center for Island Climate Adaptation and Policy.
