Approved December 20, 2012 Do You Have Jaw Muscle Pain? Temporomandibular Joint Disorders (TMJD) Research Researchers at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and University of Maryland Dental School are looking for volunteers with Temporomandibular Joint Disorders (TMJD) pain to participate in a research study to investigate pain, sleep and symptoms related to (TMJD). You may be eligible if you: - Are female - Are between 18 and 60 years of age - Have jaw muscle pain for 3 months or more - Have trouble sleeping Participation involves - An evaluation for TMJD - Completing interviews and questionnaires - Completing sensory testing procedures - An at-home sleep study - Pain management techniques for TMJD-related difficulties Earn $25 for initial study screening and up to $625.00 if you complete the remainder of the study; free diagnostic tests, and reimbursement for parking.
