EXPLANATION OF THE BILL The bill, as proposed to be amended, would increase the MinnesotaCare tax rate for providers, hospitals, surgical centers, and wholesale drug distributors from 2% to 3%. The estimate takes into account the impact of the rate change on MinnesotaCare tax refunds.
