ABOUT US
The Company
ArrowSpan Inc., was founded in 2005 by Max Lu, a former Cisco employee, who is
the President/CEO of ArrowSpan. ArrowSpan develops and manufactures Wi-Fi
mesh network solutions and is headquartered in the heart of Silicon Valley with a
branch office in Beijing, China. ArrowSpan’s streamlined design philosophy and
manufacturing expertise, makes our Wi-Fi mesh network solutions, the most
affordable and reliable solutions on the market. Our products offer users the ability
to deploy in both indoor and outdoor environments while providing them with the
most cost effective, scalable, and secure Wi-Fi mesh network. Our product
portfolio includes the high performance Triple RF MeshAP 5100/3100, the MultiFrequency MeshBackhaul 2600, the Dual RF MeshAP 1100 Indoor.
Mission Statement
Our mission is to enable carriers and service providers to expand their existing
wireless network to a wider reach. We are dedicated to developing a product that
is the best-in-class, but also profitable, economical and easy to install. ArrowSpan
is dedicated in providing quality products and customer satisfaction, and we are
firm believers that our products will change the way the world goes wireless.
The Value of ArrowSpan Wireless Mesh Network

Cost - ArrowSpan Outdoor Wireless Mesh Access Points are Low unit price,
Industry standard 5GHz and 2.4GHz spectrums, Easily deploy wirelessly.

Time - ArrowSpan Wireless Mesh Access Points can usually be setup and
working within a couple of hours.

Speed - ArrowSpan Wireless Mesh Access Points can create backhaul
throughput up to 30+Mbps.

Security - ArrowSpan Wireless Mesh Access Points offer a variety of security
options; the strongest of which is WPA2 with AES, but also support WPA/TKIP,
MAC authentication, and 64.128 bit WEP

Flexibility - ArrowSpan Wireless Mesh Access Points can be located
anywhere wireless coverage is required. Durable weatherproof housings with
carrier class temperature range assure reliable operation year round.
ArrowSpan Wireless Mesh Network Solutions

Complete Indoor/Outdoor product line covers full range of mesh network applications for hot
zones, campuses, municipalities, warehousing, enterprise offices, small offices, and home
deployments

Patent Pending Layer 2.5 design architecture provides maximum compatibility and user
friendly functions

Patent Pending POP mesh routing algorithm provides high performance and reliable
solutions: Auto-configuration, Auto-discovery, Auto-healing, Auto-balancing

Multiple wireless RF design minimizes or eliminates signal interference problems on
backhaul and user data wireless networks

GPS: Provides physical location of each MeshAP and simplifies the maintenance task

Single IP Setup for one mesh network (regardless node number). This setup minimizes the
complicated IP address setup for each node on the mesh network
Software Features

Support up-to 16 SSIDs and VLANs with Single Point Propagation - Single point propagation easily
sets the entire mesh network with an identical SSID/VLAN set for each node on the mesh network via
Mesh Manager node.

Support Https/Http - Allows GUI access via both “Http” and “Https” to enhance network management
security.

User Controllable Tx Output Power for 5GHz Radios (Optional) - Add the ability for administrators to
adjust Tx Output power for the 5GHz radios.

Enable/Disable RTS/CTS Mode - RTS/CTS mode improves throughput in high collision environment
caused by hidden terminals.

Always Connect – Every Node on the Mesh Network will be Reachable Intelligent protocol enables each
node to associate with another node even under noisy environmental conditions. Throughput may be
reduced to assure node can be reached remotely.

Diagnostic Tool to Display Link Speed, SNR, Noise, and Error Rate - Newly added Diagnostic page
allows Administrators to analyze each link’s Link Speed, Signal Noise Ratio, Noise, and Error Rate.

Smart Remote Firmware Update with Single Point Propagation - Enable firmware updates to all
nodes on the mesh network via Mesh Manager unit. Once the Mesh Manager is updated with the new
firmware: the new, updated firmware will propagate to every node on the mesh network.

Backup Link Redundancy for Manual Mode - Enhances the reliability of the Manual mode connection
by allowing two uplinks to be selected. (This feature also enables a backup link in the Point-to-point
setting.
Mesh Network Design Architecture
Layer 2 Mesh Network design benefits:

Fast packet switching design to minimize latency

Fast speed on QOS and service authentication implementation

Compatible with all existing routers, gateways, access servers
Layer 3 design to offer user friendly (HTTP) and standard
(SNMP) compliant network management support
