Origin of Britain...
The first population of England was...
CELTS.
In prehistory Britain wasn’t an island.
It become an island about 50 century B.C.
The old british population was called Celts, they
arrived from Europe across the english channel
and for a long time weren’t any new arrivals.
Typical Celts house
Celts lived in
small farms with
animals.
They grew crops
and hunted.
The typical celtic
house looks likes a
thatched long
cabin.
Druids
Celts worshipped gods and goddeses.
Their priests were called
DRUIDS.
Celtic tradition live on in our culture today by their
descendant:Irish,Scottish and Welsh.
The most important monuments are:

• Hadrian’s wall

country.

When the roman empire began to collapse the

Angle Saxon were a tribes

Germany.
They called the

England.

arrived the vikings.
They mixed with the
Angle Saxon.

France.
