Unit Profile - Radiology Nurse Manager Brief Description of the Unit Common Medication (Categories of Drugs) Common Procedures Wendy Sauers 936-7331 / Pager 30424 Provides nursing support for diagnostic procedures in Breast Imaging, Cross Section, CT, MRI, US, prep/recovery care for Interventional Radiology patients and nursing support for Radiology at offsites (Canton Health Center, East Ann Arbor, Livonia Center for Specialty Care; future: Northville). 1. Fentanyl (opioid) 2. Versed (benzodiazepine) 3. Antibiotics 3. Benadryl (anti-histamine) 4. Methylprednisolone (corstisone – treatment of contrast reactions) 5. Epinephrine (treatment of contrast reactions) 6. Glucose 50% (treatment of hypoglycemic reactions) 7. Insulin 8. Oral pain medications (post procedure management) 9. Anti-hypertensive medications 10. Beta blockers 1. Conscious sedation for patients undergoing diagnostic procedures or imaging (on site only) 2. Preparation of patients undergoing interventional (on site only) 3.
