WELCOME TO “ Learning Can be a FUN Experience” PHILOSOPHY • Each child is unique, special and have different intelligences which need to be valued and accepted as individuals. • Each child will develop effectively when many experiences are provided in life and that experience comes from play. • Each child need adult’s support and guidance for a positive development in all areas of domains (physical, cognition, language, as well as social & emotional). • The success of one child depends upon parents involvement in their education. We believe parent-partnership program is essential. TIME OUT / TIME AWAY • Length of time: one minute of time out per each year. E.g.: 3 years old =3 minutes time out. • Start: when the child quiets down. • Help each child develop and maintain acceptable behavior. COMMUNICATION • By phone, letters/ memos, free choice and communication time and observation book. • Observation book will be given every Friday. • Comments, questions, ideas, and suggestion. • Return the following Monday unless no report for those missing days. PARENT PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM • Participation in school’s program: 1. Classroom volunteer 2. Teacher-volunteer on specific subject 3. Library volunteer 4. PTO 5. Event organizer 6. Transportation ➣Volunteer your time , your special talent or knowledge! PARENT TEACHER ORGANIZERS (PTO) • Coordinate the flow of communication with other parents. • Communicate the ideas or suggestions. BOOK REPORT • Three times a year for each term. • Only parents need to attend the Book Report Day. • Teacher – Parent communication on child’s progress.
