About Clara Schumann
 Clara was born in Leipzig, Germany on September 13, 1819
 Clara died May 20, 1896 in Franfurt, Germany
 Clara's parents were Friedrich Wieck, a music teacher, and
Marianne Tromlitz Wieck , a soprano and student of Wieck; Clara's
father had said before her birth that she would be a great
musician.
 Clara Schumann was trained from the age of 5 with her father.
 October 20 1828 at the age of 11 Clara performed her first public
concert which was a "Musikalische Akademie"
 Clara was a pianist at the age of 13 until after she was married at
the age of 17 and after raising seven children she went back to
play the piano again
