How are plant and animal cells
different?
• Plant cells have:
– cell walls
– chloroplasts
– only one large vacuole (Animals cells have
many small vacuoles.)
How are prokaryotic and
eukaryotic cells different?
• Prokaryotic cells do not have a separate
nucleus or membranes around its
organelles. (example: bacteria)
• Eukaryotic cells do have a separate nucleus
and membranes around its organelles.
(examples: any plant or animal cell)
