Modern quantum mechanics with an emphasis on matrix methods. Topics to be covered include time
evolution, harmonic oscillators, angular momentum, central potentials, the hydrogen atom and
perturbation theory. Prerequisites: PHYS 212, MATH 241, pre/co-requisite MATH 261.
